Heaton Hawks LFC are looking for an aspiring goalkeeper to join our squad. This is a perfect opportunity for a young player (16+) looking to make their first steps into senior women’s football.
The Role: A Modern Team Setup
We are looking for a “Rotation Keeper” to join our family. Our current #1, Tasha, is a massive part of this team but works as a bus driver. In today’s world, Monday-to-Friday working is becoming a thing of the past, and we want to ensure Tasha can balance her career with her passion for the Hawks.
We need a goalkeeper who can train regularly and step into the starting lineup roughly once a month when Tasha is on shift.
Who are we looking for?
- Development Focused: An ambitious keeper ready to test themselves in the senior game.
- Team Spirit: We play a passing game from the back and value Togetherness above all else.
- Commitment: Someone who wants to be a core part of the squad, regardless of who is between the posts on a given Sunday.
Where & When
- Training: Every Thursday @ 7:00 PM on the 3G at Jesmond Park Academy.
- Matchdays: Sundays, normally with a 1:30 PM Kick-Off.
- Home Ground: The Manor.
