Today, March 8th, Heaton Hawks F.C. joins the global community in celebrating International Women’s Day.

This year’s global theme, “Give To Gain,” resonates deeply with everything we stand for at The Manor. In our squad, we know that success isn’t just about the goals on the scoresheet—it’s about the investment we make in one another. When we give our support, our energy, and our “Togetherness” to the person standing next to us, the whole team gains.

Our Identity, Our Strength

Whether we are patiently playing the ball out from the back or maintaining our discipline in our 3-5-2 formation, our progress is built on mutual trust. From the first-team veterans to the newest faces in the family, every player who pulls on the blue and yellow represents a commitment to collective growth.

We also stand with the United Nations’ 2026 call for “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls.” Football is more than a game; it is a platform for empowerment. We are proud to provide a space where women can compete, lead, and inspire the next generation of players right here in our community.
